The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA)’s national Educating America Tour, featuring AFA’s Concepts in Care educational conference, free memory screenings, and much more, comes to Tempe on Friday, March 9th. The free program is open to families affected by Alzheimer’s, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning more about the disease.


                        Attendees will learn from renowned Alzheimer’s and caregiving experts about topics such as safety tips to protect individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease; updates on Alzheimer’s research; information on different types of recreational therapies and activities that caregivers can use; and strategies for caregiving.  A Q&A will follow each session in which attendees can ask the experts questions.  Participants will also have the opportunity to network with one other.
