Dry Creek Guitar Studio

Owner: Mike Haasis

Address: Mountain Park Ranch

Hours: By appointment

Information: (480) 759-1025

Q: Where are you from and what did you do before opening your business?

A: I have lived in Arizona since I was 8 years old. I have been a professional musician since I was 14, and have been teaching guitar for 15 years.

Q: Why did you open your business in Ahwatukee Foothills?

A: Ahwatukee has been my home for the last 20 years. I am very much involved in the community here, including a teaching stint as the YMCA guitar instructor and performing at local events.

Q: How did you get the idea to open your business?

A: I really enjoy teaching and sharing the joy of playing the guitar with others. Music cannot only enhance your life, it can change it dramatically.

Q: What type of merchandise/services do you sell?

A: I teach guitar to students of all ages. Besides teaching out of my studio, I also travel to students’ homes to give lessons. I perform regularly in the Ahwatukee area and my students have the opportunity to join me on stage and play in front of an audience.

Q: What does your business have in store for the future?

A: I plan to continue teaching seven days a week, offering high-quality instruction at reasonable rates.

Q: Anything else you want the community to know about you or your business?

A: Just that I am very dedicated to doing the best job possible and that I am grateful to all the students and parents who have made Dry Creek Guitar Studio a success.
