Foreclosures drop

The Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness at ASU's Polytechnic campus said foreclosure activity for March is down significantly compared with February.

Foreclosure activity in March represented 31 percent (2,670 transactions) compared with 51 percent (4,295 transactions) in February. The slowdown can be attributed to the hiatus programs lenders instituted, while awaiting the new loan modification and refinancing programs from the federal government.
