Speed Gym is hosting the grand opening of its Ahwatukee Foothills location this Saturday, Nov. 1.
Live music will start at 1 p.m., featuring the band Digital Blues, Speed Gym will be hosting free demos of its Range of Motion (ROM) Cross Trainer and Aqua Massage machines.
According to Speed Gym, one hour on the treadmill initially burns 350 calories with an additional 65 during the remainder of the day, totaling 415 calories. Four minutes on The ROM initially burns 40 calories with an additional 425 during the remainder of the day.
Food will be provided from nearby vendors Star of India and Trio's. The gym will be hosting a drawing for six-month memberships and body composition scales. It will also be giving out coffee punch cards, massage punch cards, Fruit Flurry punch cards and samples of its Illy Espresso and Fruit Flurries.
