What kind of training do you offer at Rehab Plus?
In addition to our Sport specific training which is geared to the athlete, we also offer personal and group training for the individual who is just looking to live a healthier life style and reshape their body. Very qualified personal trainers offer this. Private Pilate sessions are offered as well.
What is the cost?
The cost of training varies depending on whether it is sports training or personal training or individual training vs. group training. But our prices are extremely fair and reasonable when compared with the competing market. Discounts are given when package sessions are purchased.
Where is the training conducted?
Training is done primarily in our 9,000 sq/ft training facility (state of the art equipment and 35 yards of professional turf to perform drills on), but we have access to outdoor fields in order to perform some more advanced activities when needed.
Why is sports performance training important?
Sports performance training is vitally important to an athlete’s success because it helps improve their speed, strength, agility, coordination, mental focus, and ability to perform under pressure, which will translate to greater success on the field of play at any level. It also helps to decrease the risk of injury, by increasing muscular endurance, muscular strength, and neuromuscular firing (you brain and nervous system communicating with your muscles so they do what you want them to do when you want them to). Physical and mental fatigue are two of the biggest causes of athletic injuries.
Every athlete can benefit from sports from training, male, female, young and old, amateur to professional. If you compete you NEED to train! That’s why we offer speed & agility classes for athletes as young as 8 years old. The sooner you start training your body correctly the more successful you will be at your particular sport.
