Goodwill welcomes new community leaders to board of directors
Goodwill recently welcomed six members to its board of directors: Donald Beaver, senior vice president and CIO for PetSmart; Dr. Victoria Jones, diversity officer vice president for Apollo Group; Steve Kedzior, senior vice president, field sales and services, Insight; Al Maag, chief communications officer for Avnet; Chris Koziol, managing director of Mission Advisory Services; and Dr. Jim McGovern, president for National Municipal Advisors, LLC.
Goodwill recruits board members with involvement in community and philanthropic organizations that promote social responsibility and ethical conduct. Additionally, Goodwill’s board of directors possesses the unique responsibility to focus on strategic opportunities that will enable Goodwill to achieve its long-term commitments to the community, including the organization’s retail and mission initiatives.
AZ Biltmore receives ‘Five Star Diamond Award’
The Arizona Biltmore has received the Five Star Diamond Award, one of the most prestigious recognitions in the international hospitality industry. The Five Star Diamond Award is presented annually to hotels and resorts worldwide that have demonstrated the highest levels of quality and achievement by The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS).
