Honey needs a special home

Honey is a very sweet and laid-back 2-year-old Flame Pointe Siamese, who lost her home due to foreclosure. She tests positive for FIV. If you have another FIV-positive cat and have always wanted to have another cat, Honey could be a great addition to your home, or if you are looking for a single cat.

The veterinarian for Cactus Cats says FIV is extremely hard to transmit, usually only through deep bites, so he has no problems keeping his negative and positive cats together – that is the choice of the new owner.

Meet Honey and our other rescued cats and kittens from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Ahwatukee Foothills PETCO, 5011 E. Ray Road, or e-mail realady@cox.net.

Guiness is a sweet, playful puppy

Guiness is a 6-month-old, 50-pound, sweet male lab mix. He loves the water and playing with toys and rawhides! Guiness is great with children, cats and other dogs. He is neutered, up-to-date on shots and is microchipped.

If interested in Guiness, e-mail Kelly at Kelleez@aol.com for a home visit. The adoption fee is $150.
