Live shows coming to Wild Horse Pass

Several performers are scheduled to take the stage at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino, 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler.

• The original Latin King of Comedy, Paul Rodriguez, will entertain starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 1. Rodriguez has done it all in a career spanning more than two decades. Among the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of all Time, according to Comedy Central, the multi-talented performer has also directed, produced, written and starred in more than 30 feature films and countless television series.

• Comic Louie Anderson will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 12. Anderson is a two-time Emmy award winner with a “clean” and self-deprecating brand of humor. Recognized as one of Comedy Central’s top 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time, Anderson has had his own comedy specials on HBO and Showtime, experienced success in television and movie roles and taken a turn as a best-selling author. 

 • Mitzi Gaynor comes to town for shows at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 10 and 11. Best known for her starring role in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific, Gaynor is one of Hollywood’s most enduring stars. She starred in many other popular ‘50s films including Anything Goes with Bing Crosby, The Joker is Wild with Frank Sinatra, Les Girls with Gene Kelly and There’s No Business Like Show Business opposite Ethel Merman and Marilyn Monroe. Performing steadily through the ‘70s on television and in Las Vegas, Gaynor resumed her stage act in 2006 after the death of her husband and longtime personal manager, Jack Bean.
