Thomas Carney passes away

Ahwatukee Foothills resident Thomas Carney, 92, passed away Jan. 31, 2010, in Phoenix.

Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Tempe Double Butte Cemetery, 2505 W. Broadway Road, Tempe. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at First Baptist Church of Tempe, 4525 S. McClintock Road, Tempe, with a reception to follow.

Friends and family are invited to log in to Thomas’ memorial Web site at www.caringbridge.org/visit/tomcarney. This is a place for sharing special memories of Thomas, as well as expressing condolences to the family.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Tempe Mortuary.
