Rick Halloran passes away

Richard “Rick” A. Halloran, devoted husband, father and exceptional lawyer, passed away on Oct. 22 at the age of 47 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is survived by his wife Arlene Tessmer and sons Brennan and Max of Ahwatukee Foothills; parents Richard and Arlene of Plum, Penn.; brothers Michael (Melissa) and Brian (Christie) of Alabama; Kevin (Lydia) of Shaler, Penn.; Matthew (Kristi) of Scranton, Penn.; and David Halloran of Pittsburgh, Penn.

Bloch in Pittsburgh and then moved to Phoenix, where he spent 18 years as a lawyer at Lewis and Roca LLP. At the time of his passing, Rick was the Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Litigation Section, in which capacity he oversaw nearly 100 lawyers. He was widely recognized in the legal community for his intelligence and abilities, as well as his unfailing integrity and adherence to the highest standards of the legal profession.
