Rose Linda C. Carter passes away

Rose Linda C. Carter of Ahwatukee Foothills died Nov. 25 after a long fight against heart disease.

Linda was born in Mesa on Oct. 18, 1958, to Pablo and Theresa Cortez. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education and was an excellent teacher. She went on to become senior president of the family business.

She was active in many local charities and organizations, was an avid outdoor adventurer and enjoyed living in Arizona.

Linda is survived by her husband, Steve; her son, Paul; her sister, Martha; a brother, Ray; and nine nieces and nephews.
