Longhorns offer Fall Football Registration
The Ahwatukee Longhorns Football Club will be holding a Fall Football registration on Thursday at Peter Piper Pizza (Ray & 50th Street) from 5-7pm.
The organization is a grade-based, no boundaries, non-weight 11-man tackle football and cheer league for grades 1-8. The club is part of the Arizona Competitive Youth Football League (ACYFL) and offers four divisions of play: Mighty-Mite (1st/2nd grade), Junior Pee Wee (3rd/4th grade), Pee Wee (5th/6th grade), and Junior (7th/8th grade). All coaches are USA Football Certified. School and practices at Akimel-al Middle School.
The registration fees for tackle football $190, $140 for Mighty-Mite; Cheer $90. Payment plan available. $10 sibling discount. Practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday at Akimel-al Middle School from 6 to 8 p.m.
Home games will be played at Mountain Pointe High School.
