Not too late to register for Little League spring season

Missed the open registration dates for the A.L.L. spring season?

Registration is open online – go to – through Jan. 30, or parents can register their child at next weekend’s “A.L.L. Tune-Up Camp,” also scheduled for Jan. 30.

Check in for the camp is at 1:30 Saturday, Jan. 30, at Mountain Vista Park, and anyone who missed the registration days this month can show up at the camp and sign up in person. The camp itself, designed to get participants ready for upcoming tryouts, costs $25 for two hours of instruction, and includes a T-shirt and pizza.

Prospective players must bring proof of residency and a birth certificate to register.

Registration fees are $75 for T-ball/coach pitch; $120 for Farm, Minor and Majors divisions; and $130 for Juniors (online registration add $10).

The registration fee includes player hat, jersey, pants, belt and socks.

Ahwatukee Foothills PONY Baseball registration open

Ahwatukee Foothills PONY Baseball is having spring registration for participants ages 4 through 14. Pre-registration and credit card payments are available online at, or register in person Saturday, Jan. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon at Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant, 4723 E. Ray Road, located near the intersection of East Ray Road and South 48th Street.

Opening day is slated for March 27, with the season running through the middle of May. Players are eligible if they live in Ahwatukee Mountain Park Ranch, The Foothills, Club West or Maricopa. New this year, AF PONY Baseball is competitive “Bring your own team” divisions, for ages 10U, 12U, 13U and 14U.

Ahwatukee Bombers baseball team schedules tryouts

The Ahwatukee Bombers 9-and-under baseball club team will have tryouts on Friday, Feb. 7.
