Duncan Robertson got smaller to get better.
The owner of the area’s top hair salon downsized about seven years ago to a studio in order to be more involved with family life. His square footage might have shrunk but his client list never did.
“It’s intimate and there are a lot of family hugs going on,” said Roberston, who has won the Best Of Ahwautkee for a 10th time. “It’s always been the theme of our salon and I think it is one of the reasons we have maintained such a strong relationship in the community.”
