It’s all about family at Macayo’s Mexican Restaurant, this year’s reader’s choice for “Best Mexican Food.”
“We are family owned,” said General Manager Bryan Williams. “We care about our guests, we treat them as part of our family.”
In the Valley since 1946, Macayo’s is still family owned and Williams thinks the experience of eating there is what makes them stand out.
“We are trying to give that wow experience,” Williams said. “We are trying not just to give them tacos, we are trying to make it an experience.”
Winning “Best Mexican Food” is something the staff at Macayo’s works for each year.
“It makes us very proud,” Williams said. “We strive for it each year, from the cook to the bartender to the managers, we love it.”
