Preschool is more than naptime and playtime at Summit School of Ahwatukee, this year’s reader’s choice for “Best Preschool.”

“The curriculum is very hands on and developmental,” said Kathy Konrad, the admission and marketing director. “Children learn so much more because of the hands-on element and they love doing it.” Students at the school are the No. 1 priority for both teachers and parents in this community. “It’s much more than a school,” Konrad said. “It’s more like a community. The teachers and parents are committed to the students.”

And Summit School knows that parents don’t take the education of their children lightly.

“Thank you for entrusting your children to us,” Konrad said. “We take that trust very seriously and we love them.”

Our sincere thanks to the community for honoring Summit School of Ahwatukee for the fifth year in a row!

Summit is committed to our student’s personal and academic growth from the moment they enter as preschoolers, until the day they graduate eighth grade as young adults. This is why Summit is one of few preschools in Phoenix nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our preschool curriculum is research-based, developmentally appropriate, and taught by educated, experienced, brilliant and WONDERFUL teachers.

Learning is fun with the hands-on, experiential, play-based preschool curriculum. Children gain skills above and beyond those needed to thrive in kindergarten. They also develop a joy of learning and inquiry.

Thank you for entrusting your precious children to our school.
