Duncan Salon has been part of Ahwatukee's "Best Of" for years, and say their success is all about having fun every day.
"People will tell you to separate your personal life from your professional life and my wife and I know whether it's good business advice or not, we're just not capable of that," said Duncan Robertson, co-owner of the salon with his wife, Jenny. "That's part of who we are. We give a big hug and kiss to anyone who walks in that door, and we always have. We're professional, but we just have a blast like we're throwing a party every day."
Duncan Salon has been in Ahwatukee for 13 years. In 2012 they plan to launch their own organic hair care products. Duncan is also working with a major hair care company to develop a line of hair volumizing and restorative products. On top of all that, Duncan has expanded his makeovers to include an entire head-to-toe transformation. Clients will now be able to "rent Duncan" by the hour or day for personal image consulting and private shopping.
