Here: Girls on the Run parent information meeting set

Girls on the Run is a national non-profit, school-based program that encourages third- to fifth-grade girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. A parent information meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Kyrene de la Esperanza Elementary School, 14831 S. 41st St. The program combines training for a 3.1-mile running event with small group discussions and fun, interactive physical activities.
