HERE: Teen program at Ironwood Nov. 9

Teens, 12 to 17 years old, are invited to watch “The Hunger Games” and participate in a trivia game, Peeta’s Bakery cupcake decorating, pin-back button making and drawing for movie passes from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9. It’s part of The Ironwood Library Teen Council free program at Ironwood Library, 4333 E. Chandler Blvd.

NEAR: 15th Annual Light The Night Walk Nov. 9

An estimated 5,000 participants are expected to attend Light The Night Walk and will be holding illuminated balloons as either supporters, survivors, or in honor of lives lost. The Light The Night Walk is an evening of celebration and commemoration of lives touched by blood cancer and put on by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Tempe Arts Park, 700 W. Rio Salado Pkwy.
