Here: Auditions for Winter Wonderland Ballet Saturday
On Saturday, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. auditions for the Winter Wonderland Ballet will take place at Innerlight Dance Center, 1334 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 12. The winter celebration ballet will include dances from the "Nutcracker," plus the "Bells Trilogy," "Carol of the Bells," "Dance of the Elves" and more.
Innerlight Dance is calling for dancer's ages 6-18 years. There are parts for all levels of dancer including principle dancers, company dancer and mini company dancers.
The ballet performance will take place Dec. 10 at Desert Vista High School.
Near: Josh Groban plays US Airways Center tonight
As part of his "Straight To You" worldwide tour playing through November, Josh Groban makes a stop in Phoenix at the US Airways Center, 201 E. Jefferson St., at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19. The tour supports his recent and fifth studio album "Illuminations," which has already been certified platinum in the U.S.
