On Thursday, Feb. 3, from 5 to 6 p.m., Summit School, 4515 E. Muirwood Drive, will host an open house for kindergarten and first grade. Presentations and the art exhibit will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Self-guided tours will be offered through the classrooms. Free childcare is available.

Near: Barren Earth and Cradle of Filth in Concert
Barren Earth and Cradle of Filth will be in concert on Friday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Marquee Theater, 730 N. Mill Ave., in Tempe.
Barren Earth a Finnish group and British extreme metal titan, Cradle of Filth will be playing tonight.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $24.75 in advance and $27.50 at the door.
