HERE: ‘Inception’ to play at Ironwood Library Jan. 11

Ironwood Library Teen Council invites teens to a viewing of “Inception,” from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11. Ages 12-18. Admission is free and no registration is required. Pizza and soda will be provided. Bring something comfortable to sit on at the Ironwood Branch Library, 4333 E. Chandler Blvd.

NEAR: Michael W. Smith at Celebrity Theater Jan. 11

Michael W. Smith began his career as a songwriter before releasing his Grammy nominated debut album, “The Michael W. Smith Project,” in 1983 on Reunion Records. The three-time Grammy winner is also known as one of the key architects of the current popularity of worship music. He will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Celebrity Theatre, 440 N. 32nd St., in Phoenix. Tickets are $35-$65 at www.celebritytheatre.com, or by phone (602) 267-1600, ext.1.
