Here: Catholic High School Information Night scheduled for Sept. 28
Representatives from Brophy, Notre Dame, Seton, St. Mary's and Xavier high schools will make a short presentation about their schools and answer questions at an information night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28 at St. John Bosco Catholic School, 16035 S. 48th St., in the multi-purpose room. Families with children in Catholic or public school, grades sixth through eighth, are encouraged to attend.

Near: Teacher appreciation night at IKEA slated for Sept. 28
From 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, IKEA Tempe will host teacher appreciation night and a free classroom organizing class at the store, 2110 W. IKEA Way. This will serve as a way for teachers to meet others in their field, and get free tips on how to update their classroom without busting their budgets.
The class is free and food and drinks will be provided.
