Here: Team Chances for Children garage sale
On Saturday, May 21 at 7 a.m. a garage sale to benefit Team Chances for Children will take place at Bar Fitness, 4425 E. Agave Road, Suite 100, in Ahwatukee Foothills. All proceeds will go directly to Chances for Children, a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life for children in the local community by providing them with fitness training, nutritional programs and character educational services. Many items will be available, including appliances, electronics, clothing, household items, tools, toys and more.

The Tempe Improv, 930 E. University Drive, will host David Alan Grier at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21. Most audiences will recognize him as one of the principle cast members of the television series "In Living Color," where he helped to create some of the show's memorable characters. In addition, Grier has gained recognition for his numerous feature film roles. Tickets are available by calling (480) 921-9877.
