Here: Middle-schoolers invited for fun at MPCC

Current sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students are invited to hang out and be crazy during Middle School Student Union Night, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays through July 28 at Mountain Park Community Church, 2408 E. Pecos Road.

Near: ‘49 Laughs' Comedy Tour features all-star Native American lineup

The "49 Laughs" comedy tour brings together four award-winning Native American comedians for a unique and clean comedy routine that has been entertaining audiences throughout the country. Starring Ernest Tsosie and James Junes of the "James and Ernie" comedy team and featuring Pax Harvey and Tatanka Means, the show provides something for everyone and is sure to keep audiences laughing out loud.

The show will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino, 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler.

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online at WinGilaRiver.com, by phone at (877) 840-0457 or by visiting the resort's gift shop. A $10 discount is available for attendees with a free Player's Club card.
