NBC's The Marriage Ref will host an open casting call for couples from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 11 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Arizona Home and Building Expo (Booth 919) at the Phoenix Convention Center, South Building (corner of Third and Washington streets). Another casting call will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 5th and Wine Restaurant, 7051 E. 5th Ave., Scottsdale.
The comedy panel show, created by Jerry Seinfeld and hosted by Tom Papa, features celebrities helping squabbling couples make peace. The casting team is searching the country for outgoing and opinionated married couples that have a long-standing argument or issue that must be resolved.
