Cantemus, a Phoenix-based chamber chorale, will have auditions for new members starting at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 100 W. Roosevelt St.

Auditions will consist primarily of vocal warm-ups and voice placement into the ensemble. All voice parts are needed, and no preparation is necessary. Those interested in auditioning should contact Lynn Jech at (623) 936-9120 for details.

Rehearsals are at 7 p.m. Monday nights at the same location during the concert season, which will include a performance of Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols and Franz Joseph Haydn's St. Joannis de Deo - Little Organ Mass in a Christmas concert Dec. 6.

The singers of Cantemus are devoted to providing professional performances of the works of the great choral masters, both sacred and secular.
