Auditions for the performing musical theatre company Burns It Up will begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Center Pointe Dance, 4825 E. Warner Road, Suite 11.

Auditions require a brief prepared monologue, a short song emphasizing vocal strengths and choreography learned during the audition.

Staying true to its mission, the Burns It Up troupe(s) will have numerous performances throughout the year including benefits, community events and competition. Company membership is open to "triple threat" performers ages 8 to 18.

For more information on auditions and classes, contact Karen Burns at (480) 332-7914 or or call Center Pointe Dance at (480) 598-8428.

Founded in 2005, Burns It Up is a positive, creative, non-profit organization offering classes for children and adults as well as the opportunity to be a part of one of its three performance companies. All three companies include dancers, singers and actors - each of which performs at various venues across the Phoenix metropolitan area.
