Auditions for the 11th annual Ahwatukee Foothills Nutcracker Ballet will take place Saturday, Aug. 28, at Dance Studio 111, 4910 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 111 (just west of I-10 on the northeast corner at 48th Street). Dancers ages three to 25 are encouraged to audition.
Audition attire is black tank leotard, pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes and/or pointe shoes. Tap shoes are required for toy soldiers.
You do not have to be a registered student of Dance Studio 111 to audition and perform in the Ahwatukee Foothills Nutcracker Ballet. Auditions are open to the public.
Performances will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 and 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 18.
