Registration is open for children to participate in the classic Nutcracker Ballet at the historic Orpheum Theatre. The ballet will be directed by Caroline Atkinson, Royal Academy of Dance instructor and owner of Ballet Academy of Arizona.
This unique opportunity is open to all children ages 3 to 18, and dance experience is not required. Children will receive 10 weeks of dancing, coaching and acting lessons and will then perform the ballet in New York City Ballet costumes at the Orpheum Theatre at 6 p.m. Dec. 22 and 3 p.m. Dec. 23.
