The Phoenix Symphony finishes its US Airways Classics Series with a rendition of "The Red Violin" May 19 and 21 at Symphony Hall.

Phoenix Symphony concertmaster Steven Moeckel performs music from John Corigliano's Oscar-winning score.

The musical tale of the violin's journey through several tumultuous generations is paired with performances of Mendelssohn's enchanting music from "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 19 and 8 p.m. on May 21.

Tickets start at $18 and can be purchased by calling the Phoenix Symphony box office at (602) 495-1999 or by visiting www.phoenixsymphony.org.
