One of the Valley's premier culinary events, Dine Out with the Chefs, celebrates its fifth anniversary in grand style on Sunday, Oct. 3, with a new roster of outstanding chefs, live entertainment by the Beth Lederman Trio and other surprises. The event will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, 7380 E. Second St., Scottsdale.

Dine Out with the Chefs offers guests the opportunity to mingle with more than 20 of the Valley's top chefs and to sample their culinary creations, from delicious soups, salads and appetizers to some of their signature dishes and most decadent desserts. Also on the menu is a book signing with Pamela Swartz, event founder and author of Dine Out Phoenix: Where to Eat from Chic to Unique.

Advance tickets, $55, are available by calling the box office at (480) 994-ARTS (2787), ext. 2, or online at www.ScottsdalePerformingArts.org. Tickets at the door are $65. Proceeds benefit the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts' programs and youth education and outreach initiatives.
