Youth Night at Y

The Ahwatukee Foothills Family YMCA, 1030 E. Liberty Lane, will host Youth Night from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10.

This provides an opportunity to get fourth- and fifth-graders out and about with their friends in a safe environment. The evening will feature pizza and soda, games from the hit television show Minute to Win It, Nintendo Wii, rock wall, music and sports.

Loverboy coming to Wild Horse Pass

Loverboy became one of the most successful rock bands of the 1980s with four multi-platinum albums and a string of No. 1 hits. 2010 marks the 30th anniversary for the hardworking Canadian rock band known for their energetic live performances.

The band will reprise some of their most loved number one hits, including "Working for the Weekend," "Turn Me Loose" and "Lovin' Every Minute of It," starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino, 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler.

Tickets, $23 to $58, may be purchased at WinGilaRiver.com, by calling (877) 840-0457 or by visiting the resort's gift shop. A $10 discount is available for attendees with a free Player's Club card.
