Five-time Grammy award winner Donna Summer will headline "THE Concert," the new annual benefit for The Phoenix Symphony featuring a grand evening of music, dinner and dancing, starting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16. The annual concert previously took place on New Year's Eve. "THE Encore" dinner party will follow in The Ballroom at Civic Plaza with dinner and dancing featuring short performances by some of the Valley's most talented young musicians.

Tickets start at $500 and give patrons access to the entire evening's events from the cocktail reception to the concert at Symphony Hall, followed by the evening of dinner and dancing to the music of Affinity. Corporate sponsorships and tables are also available.

Since 1954, the annual benefit has raised money in support of the Symphony. Proceeds from this year's event will support The Phoenix Symphony's education, outreach and artistic activities.

For more information, call (602) 495-1117, ext. 422.
