“Heroes 19," an American brown ale put together by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild in remembrance of the 19 firefighters who perished in the June 30 Yarnell Fire near Prescott, is set to be released this week.

Tappings and toasts of the brew are planned across the state.

In Chandler, San Tan Brewing Company and other nearby bars will host a tapping 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. Chandler firefighters will be there to interact with guests and show off fire engines.

Four Peaks Brewing Company will tap the beer Aug. 19 at all of its Valley locations.

Hensley Beverage Company donated services to deliver the beer, which is made from 19 different hops donated by breweries from around the state. A 19 on the beer color scale, "Heroes 19" will serve to raise money for the families of the deceased Granite Mountain Hotshots. Proceeds from every pint purchased will be donated to Prescott Firefighter Charities.
