Meandering Scottsdale’s arts district during its lively Thursday-night ArtWalk has been a go-to event for as long as we can remember — and this month, your dog can get in on the affair, too.

Leashed and well-mannered pets are welcome 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. August 8, 15, 22 and 29 along Main Street west of Scottsdale Road and on Marshall Way north of Indian School Road to Fifth Avenue.

You and Rover may proceed at your own pace, wandering in and out of galleries, stopping to listen to live music, or grabbing a bite from food trucks stationed at an area with seating and misters. Super Farm Super Truck, The Pho King Truck, Goodness Gracious Great Balls Of Fire, Luncha Libre and Lulu’s Italian Ice are scheduled to participate.

Pet friendly attractions along the ArtWalk route will include water and treats for dogs, pet charity and rescue booths, pet groomers, live pet art demonstrations and pet accessories.

Scottsdale ArtWalk is free. For information, go to
