After a successful show last March the Laughing Irish are returning to town Nov. 12 and 13 for a clean comedy show.

The Laughing Irish are three graduates of Notre Dame who have all had successful comedy routines on their own. Now the three are teaming up to bring clean comedy to the Valley.

The shows will take place Friday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m. in the Social Hall at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Phoenix and Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Social Hall at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Gilbert.

Tickets are available online ahead of time for $15 or $20 at the door. All proceeds will go to Maggie's Place to help house pregnant women in need.

The group is back by popular demand.

"The reaction was just overwhelmingly positive," said Federico E. de los Santos. "One woman came to me crying and just gave me a hug. Her husband had been laid off for a year and they hadn't laughed so hard in so long because of the amount of stress they'd had."

The comedians stress the cleanliness of their show. They aim to have simple fun with audience interaction and no controversial issues or foul language.

"If you like to laugh and not be offended - sometimes the clubs can get a little dirty - then this is the show for you," said Jimmy Brogan, a past writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and one of the three comics. "It's clean and family friendly and it's funny."

The comedians are Jimmy Brogan, Eric Hunter, Late Night "Laff-Off" winner, and John Garrett, International Comedy Festival "Best of the Fest" winner.
