Bleachers Sports Grill in Ahwatukee Foothills is sporting a new look since undergoing a renovation combining its food with larger booths, flat-screen TVs, lakefront tables and an enhanced community bar.

"I was motivated to remodel because I felt that the restaurant has had the same look for several years now and with summertime rolling around, it is a perfect time for change," owner Mark Clarke explained.

His ultimate goal was to create a more inviting atmosphere that could allow for better business.

Clarke's motto: "Out with the old, in with the new." In addition, he added new carpet, black seating and moved around the tables to create a more spacious dining room.

"We are not just a bar, we are a restaurant that invites families in for our quality food and service," Clarke said.

Bleachers has plans to update its menu in the near future and add a number of new items. On top of having an improved interior and seating space, the grill is still known for its sitting against the lake at 15410 South Mountain Parkway. They are open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., giving customers the option for lunch, dinner and a late-night meal.
