SunDust Gallery, downtown Mesa’s affordable art gallery and paint-your-own art studio, is moving to south Gilbert. SunDust is set to re-open Sept. 3 at 207 E. Williams Field Road, Building H, on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Williams Field roads.

“We have secured an awesome new location with wood floors, kitchen facilities for our birthday parties and BYOB events, expanded space for art classes, and a great upscale feel for displaying art and crafts,” reads a message posted Aug. 8 to the gallery’s Facebook page.

An email sent to patrons of the gallery reads that the Gilbert space will allow SunDust to increase its studio space and add new BYOB paint parties and private lessons in painting, drawing, clay, jewelry, and other art forms for kids, teens and adults.

The gallery, which has won two Best of East Valley awards in the East Valley Tribune’s annual reader poll, will continue to show and sell the work of local artists.
