John, Paul, George and Ringo will “return” to the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre when the internationally acclaimed Beatles tribute band, The Return, performs at 7:30 p.m. June 5.

The Return has performed all over the world, including the Cavern in Liverpool, as well as Abbey Road Studios in London. In Japan they headlined the 40th anniversary celebration of the Beatles’ visit to Tokyo. In Hermosillo, Mexico, they debuted their “Sgt. Peppers & Beyond” show in front of more than 10,000 fans. In the U.S. they were recently named the Atlanta Braves Band of the Year.

The Return has brought back the fun, the energy and the excitement of the pop culture sensation that came to be known as “Beatlemania.” Featuring Richard Stelling as John, Shane Landers as Paul, Michael Fulop as George and Adam Thurston as Ringo, The Return recreates the early years, 1963 through 1966, when The Beatles were touring. Black suits that the Beatles made famous on the Ed Sullivan Show and tan Nehru jackets that the Beatles wore in front of more than 55,000 people at Shea Stadium are worn during the show. The band’s members are dedicated to accurately recreating the sound and likeness of The Beatles.

Actual Beatles concerts contained a mixture of the No. 1 hits (“I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “A Hard Day’s Night,” “Daytripper”), rock-and-roll cover tunes originally performed by their musical idols (“Long Tall Sally,” “Rock And Roll Music,” “Twist And Shout”), as well as a few B-sides and lesser-known album cuts (“If I Fell,” “You Can’t Do That,” “If I Needed Someone”).  Expect these and more from The Return.

Dinner will be served beginning at 6 p.m., with the concert at 7:30.

Tickets can be purchased online at, by phone, 480-325-6700, or at the box office, 5247 E. Brown Road in Mesa. Tickets are $39 for dinner and show; $20 for show-only seating.

The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is on the southeast corner of Brown and Higley roads in the Alta Mesa Plaza. The theater is accessible from the Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) or the U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) via the Higley Road exits. Parking is free.
