Spy something you like in the new art show at the Gallery at Tempe Center for the Arts, and you could take it home with you.

The International Guild of Realism’s eighth annual juried exhibition opens Oct. 5 with more than 100 paintings, and every single one of them is for sale.

The guild, based in Scottsdale, organizes shows that provide a current snapshot of realism in fine art, from trompe l’oeil (“fool the eye”) still life and surrealistic scenery to photorealistic portraiture and landscape. The paintings in the Tempe exhibition were created by 93 painters from all over the world.

They’re on view through Dec. 1 at TCA. Admission is free.

A VIP Sneak Peek Reception is 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 4. Patrons will enjoy gourmet heavy hors d’oeuvres, a red carpet opening, an award presentation, a silver jewelry giveaway and the chance to meet and mingle with award-winning artists from all over the world. Tickets are $100, not including fees.
