Wine Barrels

Mesa's Il Vinaio is hosting a wine pairing dinner.

What’s on the menu? A variety of wines and lamb from sustainably farmed Shannon Ridge Vineyards in Lake County, CA. What makes this vineyard special? Sheep are used to trim the vines, and since grape leaves contain five times more protein than grass, the mutually beneficial relationship produces some of the most tender lamb meat in the world.

The wine pairing dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 and $46 per person. Members of the Wine Club save 10 percent. Reservations required. For more information, call (480) 649-6476 or visit www.ilvinaio.net/.
