For the ninth year in a row, Purcell's Western States Tire Center located on East Ray Road has put the pedal to the medal, lapped the competition, taken the checker flag - you name it - to earn the voters' nod as Ahwatukee Foothills' "Best Place to Get Your Car Fixed."
With a national reputation that's lasted for more than 70 years since Robert M. Purcell opened the first Purcell location in Washington, Mo., the local Purcell's store prides itself on offering an honest shop with hard-working employees in a profession often marred by shady practices.
