Event to spotlight online marketing strategies
On Wednesday, Feb. 10, WSI Internet Marketing and KB Communications will present Cost-Effective Online Marketing: Strategies for Emerging Businesses, a free presentation for Valley business owners and entrepreneurs. Internet marketing consultant Kathleen Ion, of WSI Internet Marketing, and public relations consultant Ilisa Keith, principal of KB Communications, will explain the latest online marketing tools and trends, discuss the “dos and don’ts” of a cost-effective online marketing and PR campaign and offer practical tips for getting started. Light refreshments will be served at the event, which will include a Q&A session. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at WSI Internet Marketing, at 4425 E. Tasting Ahwatukee 2010 set for Feb. 20
Guests will have the opportunity to sample foods from the best Ahwatukee Foothills restaurants during the Fifth Annual Tasting Ahwatukee event, set for 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 11002 S. 48th St. The family event will showcase local restaurants and businesses, and a silent auction also will take place.
Tickets, $7, will be available after Jan. 5 at the church office, between church services on weekends and at the door the night of the event. Proceeds will benefit the church’s youth programs.
