Best customer service, best orthodontist
PATI PAKULIS

At one point or another, most children, and even adults, make monthly trips to the orthodontist. It's no doubt that people not only choose their orthodontist because of their exceptional dental skills, but because of their stellar customer service.

Team Orthodontics gives their customers just that, and maybe even more; so it's no surprise that this orthodontics office would win in the "Best Customer Service" category.

Team Orthodontics, conveniently located in both Ahwatukee and Gilbert, prides itself on both its customer service and top-notch dental care. They promise to build a one-on-one interactive relationship with everyone who walks through their doors.

"Our office is known for customer service and extraordinary experiences," said Bev Mortensen, the treatment and promotions coordinator at Team Orthodontics.

Mortensen works with sponsorships and schools to help promote Team Orthodontics, and meets with new patients for their initial consultation.

Team Orthodontics has a lot of amenities to keep their patients happy and entertained. A coffee machine is located in the lobby and an arcade is just around the corner. There are even televisions located above each treatment chair for the patients.

Patients can also participate in monthly contests and receive "Lucky Buck Tokens" when they demonstrate exceptional hygiene. These tokens can be redeemed for gift certificates, movie passes and even iTunes gift cards.

"There are a lot of bells and whistles, but the focus is on the patients, their families, and providing top orthodontic care," said Marie Weathers, the practice manager.

There are lots of treatment options and state-of-the-art technology available at Team Orthodontics such as invisible orthodontics and 3-D imaging.

Dr. Ken Danyluk, better known as Dr. D, also believes strongly in the importance of customer service.

"I always had a belief that people come first. My major focus is the people," said Danyluk, who is extremely involved in the Ahwatukee community.

He believes that his patients should be treated as individuals, and that the relationship with his patients is in no way limited to oral care.

Danyluk believes that he has gained many friendships during his time at Team Orthodontics. In fact, he often runs into his current and past patients at the local Safeway and ends up having extended conversations.

So if you're looking for a better smile, good customer service and some new friends along the way, Team Orthodontics is the place to go.
