Ok, so this isn't the usual live blog we have been running at AFN since the start of the football season.

I'm sure all of my followers - all three of you are much appreciated, even you Mom - are broken hearted.

But I am at the bottom, hopefully by now, of the Grand Canyon on a four-day hike at the Havasu ‘Baaja Indian reservation to take in the beauty of the waterfalls and landscape of one of most serene places in Arizona if not the Earth.

So I am unable to bring you my usual drivel at this usual time and place.

Assuming I make it back out of the Grand Canyon after a total of about 26 miles of hiking, I will be back next week when Desert Vista hosts Mesa.

Reader be ware.
