The Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its upcoming Women in Business Tradeshow and Luncheon on Sept. 18 at the beautiful Arizona Grand Resort, 8000 Arizona Grand Parkway, in Phoenix. Men, women, members and non-members are very welcome to join us, and take the opportunity to network with a diverse range of local businesses. It is a great opportunity to meet your business neighbor face-to-face.

The chamber is keen advocates of buying local, so we are pleased to announce that our guest speaker will be Cathy Kelly from Local First Arizona, who will be presenting an informative session on how to maximize your “localness.” Come together with fellow community members to discover, share and celebrate all of the innovative practices to support the local message from a business owner’s standpoint.

Attendees will learn new strategies for attracting and retaining customers based on their local ownership. We will explore business collaborations, effective communication tactics, and competitive business strategies to get a leg up on the national competition. Whether you’re big enough to have a sales team or running your business alone, you will learn how to more effectively position your business as an asset to the local economy worthy of support.

Our Women in Business event will kick off at 11 a.m., with our trade show showcasing local businesses providing products and services in the Ahwatukee and surrounding area. Don’t forget to bring plenty of business cards, as you will also have the opportunity to make new connections both prior to the luncheon and also at your luncheon table. The luncheon will begin at noon. Luncheon tickets cost $35 for members and $45 for non-members.

Are you interested in showcasing your business as a vendor at the tradeshow? Don’t miss out on marketing and speaking with your local target market. Vendor tables cost $25 for members and $40 for non-members. If you are a vendor staying for the luncheon, please purchase a luncheon ticket.

To purchase luncheon tickets or to reserve a vendor table, please visit our Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber website where you can pay directly online. We encourage you to invite and share the event details to other local businesses in your social network. By spreading the word, we help each other locally.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our presenting sponsor Beauchamp Law, plus our table top sponsors — Financial Life Planners, Dental Group of Ahwatukee, and New Paths to Healthcare. We can’t wait to see our fabulous vendors and both new and familiar faces on Sept. 18.
